Getting the Highest Price for Your Home.
Effective, innovative and aggressive marketing is the key to selling your home in Savannah in the shortest time possible for the highest dollar the market will allow. This type of marketing philosophy of my Client's homes is one of the reasons I've become a successful real estate agent in the Savannah area and it's surrounding suburbs including The Landings on Skidaway Island, Wilmington Island, the Downtown Historic Landmark District and Tybee Island.
One of THE most important elements of marketing your home effectively is setting the right price. This is especially true in todays very challenging real estate market. The inventory of Homes for sale is at an all-time high...yet qualified buyers are in scarce supply. Set the price too high, and you won't get the traffic you need to sell your home and it will stay on the market too long. Set it too low and you cheat yourself by not getting your home's full, fair value. As an expert in Savannah area real estate and a former appraiser, I analyze the market and set area home prices every single day. It's science...but it's also an art, because often it's intuition, insight, history, experience and a 'feel' for the market that only a long-time Realtor and Savannah native can possess that can make the difference that translates into your getting your home sold.
The condition and appearance of your home are also critical factors in getting the best price. Most often these days, in every price range, there will be dozens of homes for sale. In order to 'grab' the buyers, a house must stand out heads above all the rest and distinguish itself as the best value available. I'll personally walk through your home with you and advise you of what you can do to properly stage your home most effectively. Decorating and staging are not the same things. 'How you dwell is not always how you sell.' Once your home hits the market, you need to look at it...and think of it, as a product, because that is indeed what it is to potential buyers.

Real estate negotiations and contracts can be intimidating in their complexity. Most people have almost no experience in these negotiations. After all, how often do you buy or sell a new house?
